Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 July 2026 · Draft pending legal review
1. The service
Spotlive is a marketplace connecting artists, venues, organizers, and audiences for live events. We facilitate discovery, bookings, ticketing, and payments; the events themselves are run by their organizers, who are responsible for delivering what they list.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may restrict accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or the safety of other users — restricted accounts are signed out everywhere and lose access to purchase and messaging features.
3. Tickets & payments
Ticket prices and fees are itemized before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment partners; Spotlive does not store card details. Refunds follow the event’s stated refund policy, and are always issued in full when an organizer cancels an event. Tickets are personal admission rights and may not be resold commercially.
4. Bookings between professionals
Booking offers, acceptances, and fees agreed through Spotlive are commitments between the parties involved. Spotlive records the agreed terms and provides messaging and dispute context, but is not a party to professional engagements in v1.
5. Content & conduct
You retain rights to content you post and grant Spotlive a licence to display it on the platform. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Harassment, spam, fraud, impersonation, and inappropriate content are prohibited and can be reported from any surface; moderation actions are logged and may include content removal or account restriction.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spotlive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in-app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Questions: legal@spotlive.example (placeholder — replace before launch).
